Our Story

My name is Emily and I am the owner of Twisted Tees Designs. I have always loved creating my own apparel ever since I was a kid and have always found joy in seeing others enjoy what I have created. As a new first time mom, I decided to begin this business several weeks before my daughter was born. I have always been one that loves a good oversized sweatshirt and being pregnant I didn’t have clothes that really fit right so I decided to look into making my own. When looking into just what I wanted to make, I looked at what my biggest interests were and how I could bring them to life. I took up reading several years ago and knew that bookish merch was one of the things that I wanted to incorporate. However, one of the biggest things in my life has always been music and I have always been the girl in some type of band t-shirt. In the last few years, I fell in love with Bad Omens’ music and I started looking for merch that I could buy for myself. When I did this, I found that I was struggling to find exactly what I was looking for. Once I thought about it a little further, I decided why not make my own? There were lyrics in their songs that stood out to me and resonated with my personal life and I wanted to be able to bring these words to life but I also wanted to be able to have a little something for everyone; so I got to work.

Creating these designs has absolutely changed my life and I love seeing the joy that it brings other people that didn’t know that they were looking for the same thing that I was. I can’t wait to see where this business goes in the coming years and I thank each and every one of my customers from the bottom of my heart.
